Artist Info

Matt Cohen is an accomplished wildlife and nature photographer based in New Hampshire.  He has been passionate about photography since childhood and has developed his skills in various areas including photojournalism, nature observation, and sports photography.  Matt is inspired by the wonders of nature all around us and finds great joy in sharing his observations and connecting with others through his photography.  You can learn more about him by watching his Artist Biography video on this page.

His photography can be viewed and purchased through this website (see Galleries and Online Store links) as well as in person at ArtWorks Gallery in Chocorua, NH and at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center gift shop.  Check out the Events page for upcoming events like local workshops where you can connect with Matt.  His award-winning photography has been exhibited at month-long library exhibits in different regions of NH and his photography is displayed annually at the Beaver Brook Association Fall Festival and Art Show.  As a member of the Loon Preservation Committee in New Hampshire, Matt helps assist in tracking and protecting New Hampshire’s loons through their breeding season.  Matt also volunteers with the NH Audubon, helping track the nesting progress of New Hampshire's bald eagles.
